Seeking the film review of Snatch (directed by guy ritchie, England)
Just like cousin Ivy in the movie described London as a cold and humid city, in this country where it rains all the year round, I think it is really necessary to use jokes to adjust the cold of life. British people always think that humor is the greatest charm of men. Humor is their most unique personality, whether it is Churchill who smokes cigars or the world-famous Sun. Humor habit, which has been formed for a long time, has become a national feature embedded in the bones of the British. In English movies, unique humor has become a special element that others learn impure. Traditional British black humor movies such as Ace Cheap Disks, six strong men Pig, Mr. Bean, and even Bond in 007 can be regarded as humor masters. But when it comes to English humorous movies, there are still some people who can't help but mention it. That is Geric, a man who can be regarded as a husband by Madonna's sister, with unimaginable charm. Grics is regarded as a different kind of British directors, and his major works include Predation and Two Heavy Smokers, which made him famous in one fell swoop. Grics's works are somewhat similar to Quentin's works in the United States, both of which are famous for their wonderful dialogues, off-stage plots and superior ability to control characters' clues. However, Quentin is addicted to Shaw's martial arts situation, and Killing Bill is actually promoting China Kung Fu. The biggest feature of Grics's films is that there are many classic black comedies everywhere. This kind of comedy is close to cold humor, just like sitting Stephen Chow giving a professional ethics lesson to prostitutes. The more you watch it, the more people laugh. Earlier, his two smoking pipes made me admire him. Although this "Predation" is called Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels's sequel, it doesn't matter whether Geric does something old or new.

The opening scene of the movie shows two men sitting in a straight suit. One of them is very strong, making a turkey, and the other, like Ng Man Tat, is called Tommy, who is a turkey follower. The camera zoomed in and a close-up of the turkey's face appeared. He looked puzzled and said to himself, "But what do I have to do with diamonds?" As soon as the voice fell and the camera turned, it was another vigorous but irrelevant robbery scene. I saw a group of robbers with fake beards on their faces and pistols tied to their bodies rushing into the jewelry store and taking away a diamond weighing 86 grams very simply and gorgeously. At this point, the film really kicked off. The protagonist is not a person, but this bright diamond. The whole movie revolves around it, and then the movie uses an MTV-style stop-motion picture to make all the characters in the whole movie appear one by one.

Four-fingered Fran: He is the gangster who robbed an 86-carat diamond with a group of strong men dressed as beards at the beginning of the movie. The film begins with him holding a diamond. Four Fingers Flange's task is to bring the diamond back to new york boss's cousin Ivy unscathed, and all the plots revolve around fighting for this 86-carat diamond. Poor Fran was betrayed by her partner even before boarding the plane. The accomplice informed another Russian gangster in London, Ska Abu, to let him go. As a result, the first person killed in the movie was the gambler Fran. First, he was knocked unconscious by a car accident, and then he was shot and killed by scar Bo, and his left hand handcuffed to the safe was sadly cut off.

Cousin Ivy: This is the boss of Four Fingers Flange. He is a direct subordinate. He knew Fran was a compulsive gambler, so he repeatedly told Fran not to go to the casino, but he could take care of everything. Fran still couldn't help himself and ran to the underground boxing ring to gamble. He was knocked unconscious by an accident before he went in. After the accident, my cousin Ivy had to fly from new york to London, where there was no sunshine and no beach. He hated it most. In London, he found a familiar gangster friend, the owner of the dog, and another strong thug, Kouga Tony, to look for diamonds.

Boss Dog: My cousin Ivy's friend, a diamond dealer and a fat pig, wants to take this opportunity to make a fortune.

Mad Atto: "Life is short. If Atto is unhappy, then life is really short! " "This is another Sue said. Therefore, the influence of this man named Atto is absolutely extraordinary. Atto controls the underground boxing match. He is a gangster who earns illegal income by counterfeiting. He is irritable and fierce, and likes to hide his secrets calmly. Two things that Ato likes to do best are stabbing people with electric batons and feeding people to pigs. For convenience, Atto built a big and smelly pig farm. In the whole movie, he only did one thing wrong, that is, he threatened to fight since he set fire to Mickey's home, and the most unforgivable thing was that Mickey's mother was sleeping at home. It's just that this mistake directly led to the end of crazy Atto's life.

Mickey: A dangerous gypsy. When he speaks, he seems to have eight radishes in his mouth. Mickey has a hard fist and is not afraid of being beaten. More importantly, he is smart. Mickey helped Atto fight fake boxing for his mother's camper. Unexpectedly, the end of the first boxing made the crazy Atto angry. Atto threatened Mickey to have another fight. In order to threaten Mickey, he also set fire to Mickey's home and burned Mickey's mother to death. So, angry Mickey agreed to take part in the competition and launched his own revenge plan.

Tommy Turkey: These are the two most unlucky people in the whole movie. They are organizers of underground boxing matches. At first, they had a diving match with Amato, but they didn't expect their boxer to be knocked down by Mickey's strange punch because of the fight. Turkey told Mickey to handle the fake boxing match and told him to fall in the fourth inning. I didn't expect Mickey to knock down the red-haired Atto's boxer with only one punch. Atto was furious and asked Turkey and Tommy to compensate him for all his losses, otherwise he would be sent to the pig farm to feed the pigs. Turkey and Tommy, who were trapped by tourists, had to ask Mickey for help to play another game. In the fourth game, Mickey was asked to fall. The result of this game is staggering. Mickey still didn't fall in the fourth game according to Arto's arrangement! Instead, Mickey bought a bet and won a lot of money. And in the end, Turkey and Tommy no longer have to worry about being slaughtered and fed to pigs, because crazy Atto has died at the hands of Mickey who is bent on revenge.

Street hooligans trio: Aso, Mosquito and Miron: All three are street hooligans. They were hired by Abu Ska to rob the red-haired flange in Atto's boxing ring. Three of them were armed to the teeth (among them, "Mosquito" had an oversized heavy machine gun similar to hitting a plane), but when they entered, they met a slender but ruthless cashier with a gun as big as a mosquito and almost locked in the secret room. Fortunately, Miron arrived in time at this time and rescued two people trapped in the cage. Just as they were about to escape, three people had an accident when backing up (Miron, a big fat man, hit the car with the four-finger flange), and the four-finger flange was knocked unconscious. The three men got nothing and hijacked faint flange to Abu. Abu shot off the flange, cut off the flange and handcuffed the left hand of the safe, and walked away. Later, crazy Atto discovered through surveillance video that three people were robbed by Aho, so he tried to find three people. Atto used torture (old trick, threatening to feed pigs and setting dogs to bite people) to force Aho and mosquitoes to find diamonds. So the three unlucky guys attacked again and met their cousin Ivy and Tony with steel teeth who came to look for the four-finger flange.

Kouga Tony: Tony was invited to solve the problem when the boss and cousin Ivy were helpless. Kouga's nickname comes from the fact that he lost a tooth in a fight, and then he was inlaid with a shiny Kouga. Tony has a strong appearance and cool lines. He always does things neatly. The most wonderful scene is in a bar, where three gangsters, Aso, point fake guns at Tony. Facing the fierce three men, Tony just said with a straight face, "Son of a bitch, the words' replica' are printed on the side of your gun, and mine is engraved with' Desert Eagle 5'. 0! "The three men fled immediately after hearing the man's cry. Kouga's fate is also tragic. He was killed by his cousin Ivy. The direct culprit is a puppy.

Scar Abu: Russian, a former KGB member, had a gloomy expression on diamonds from the beginning. He also succeeded in getting diamonds, but he chose the wrong businessman to sell stolen goods. He actually took the diamonds he got to the boss's shop to sell. Naturally, I was knocked down by cousin Ivy's men and left in the trunk of the car driven by Tony and cousin Ivy, but I was in a car accident all the way and fell out from behind with my head covered. He picked up a heavy machine gun from home and ran to the bar to get the diamond back, but in the corridor outside the bar, he met Aso who had just been sent away. After exchanging fire with Ivy's cousin and Tony, Ahso and Mozzie escaped with diamonds. Abu Ska was shot seven or eight times by Tony (Tony was not a good sharpshooter) before he died.

Dog: Maybe it can't be called a character, but it can only be regarded as a small animal, but it is one of the most wonderful highlights in the movie. This nameless puppy was bought by mosquitoes from Mickey, a gypsy. From the beginning, he was despised by Aso, and the dog's life was not so good. First, Ashu fed him with an oversized plastic doll, and then he was almost cut off because mosquitoes lied to Abu that the key was in his stomach. Just as it survived, the most dramatic scene happened. When the puppy saw Ivy holding the shiny diamond found in mosquito's crotch, it swallowed the diamond and ran away. When it escaped, cousin Ivy shot at the dog while cursing, but accidentally killed another bad gunman Tony.

Ending: Linked to the beginning of the movie, the picture of Turkey and Tommy appeared again. At this time, we have understood that when they were looking for Mickey, they found the puppy that was originally Mickey in Mickey's hometown. When they saw the barking puppy, they kindly took it to the vet. I don't know that in the hospital, the puppy actually pulled out an 86-carat diamond, and two unlucky people made a fortune. Just when we thought these two bad gods were finally starting to get lucky, I couldn't help laughing when the camera turned. Sitting opposite them turned out to be cousin Ivey's brother, the boss of the dog head. As the only diamond dealer in the city, the boss turned to make a phone call to his cousin Ivy after seeing the diamond. Ivey quickly hung up the phone and went to the bathroom for a drink. He looked up at the scene of the plane entering the customs for the third time, but this time the stamp was dropped and the letter was reflected. The movie really ended.

The plot lines of "Predation" are quite complicated, and each branch line goes hand in hand and influences each other. Director Grics, like Dong Fangbubai, holds a bunch of embroidery needles in his hand and skillfully manipulates the clues of the characters in the whole film, making the film tall and colorful. Different from the practice that many characters in Two Heavy Smokers concentrate on a little conflict, the characters and clues in Predation always meet and conflict. From the beginning, the fight between Mickey and Tommy for the station wagon directly led to the boxer's loss, while the madman and Scar had an indirect influence because the latter instructed Joni Aho and others to rob the casino. Tommy and Scar Abu were furious because the latter gave him a fake gun. Aho and Tony with steel teeth had a bar fight because the red-haired Atto forced Joni Aho and others to look for diamonds. Scar, Turk and others also clashed with the dog boss many times because of selling diamonds ... The whole film of Geric made full use of unrelated characters to be connected through various experiences. Domino-like chain reaction makes the film produce a lot of absurd and exaggerated fragments, and this alternative expression makes the whole film novel. Although there are many characters in the film, there is no absolute protagonist, and the performance skills are ignored. And all the scenes are around diamonds, with flowers blooming next to them. Every flower in the movie, that is, every character, is a factor that affects the development of the plot. They often meet unexpectedly, but they contain each other. So we can often see that the plot has changed dramatically under incredible circumstances, which also allows us to concentrate on watching the poor performances of these ridiculous guys for a long time.

Another reason why Geric can be regarded as an alternative genre in gangster movies is that without too many action scenes, the whole movie will not feel a little bloody and uncomfortable. Instead, you will often enjoy the pleasure of machine gun shooting involuntarily. This is different from Quentin, the personality director of another gangster film. Violent elements in Grics's films are very rare. On the other hand, Quentin's films, Reservoir Dogs and Killing Bill are all quite violent aesthetic styles, which may be the difference of different expressions of the same violent culture between Britain and America. In these two types of movies, English hooligans tend to be more gentlemanly, like clockwork orange. Therefore, although the gangsters in Grics's movies are all bad guys, they still look like gentlemen, whether they are dog boss, red-haired Allen, Abu Ska or Turkish gangsters like Tommy, they are well dressed, polite and have hair, while the guys in Quentin's movies are Jules in Pulp Fiction and several color gentlemen in Reservoir Dogs.

Predation was filmed after the success of Two Heavy Smokers, and the former can definitely be regarded as the sequel of the latter. Although it has nothing to do with the plot content, many things in the film just replace each other. The expensive old gun became a diamond, the axe boss became Mr. Pig (crazy Atto), and the unlucky four young people who failed in gambling were replaced by turkey and Tommy who failed in boxing. That exaggeration can be used for fighting. The main actors haven't changed much, including Brad Pitt and Benny Audeteau Rowe. Most of the other actors are the original cast, such as Winnie Jones, Jason Flemyng, Jason Statham and so on. Especially the burly Winnie Jones, who used to be a professional player in the English Super League. As an athlete, Jones is famous for his rough and fierce style. So far, he still holds an embarrassing world record on the football field. It took only three seconds for the player who was sent off the court the fastest. Jones, who was frustrated on the court, made great progress in making movies. He got on Geric's cold and dark humor express train, and then performed well in Two Heavy Smokers and Robbery, so he later moved to Hollywood to develop and took over two familiar commercial blockbusters, namely 60 seconds in Aauto Quicker and Operation Swordfish, both of which performed well. Last year in Europe, this time, his role has been changed to a crazy and violent Manchester United fan, which should be his true performance. In this film, he was photographed in the car for a few minutes, without breathing or swearing, which shows the quality of a professional actor in Winnie the Pooh (in Zhou Xingxing, if the director doesn't stop, I will continue to play! ), professionalism makes me admire!

On the whole, Predation is an excellent black humor film. Whether it's "Predation" or "Two Heavy Smokers", Grics has achieved a relatively successful degree, a kind of black ferocity, and violence has turned into a pleasure in a seemingly reasonable assumption. When we watch it, we have a feeling of teasing others. Although we make superficial remarks on our innermost thoughts, if we watch them carefully, it is not difficult to find an interesting social phenomenon hidden in Grics's two films, that is, in these two films, the police role is the object of denial and ridicule. In the fierce gun battle in the marijuana criminals' lair like Vietnam War, the real police did not come, but came. In "Predation", the police finally arrived. However, before she came to us at the last minute, we called a thousand times and urged them for a thousand times, but they foolishly let go of the turkey and Tommy who were holding diamond dog, and instead caught the hapless Ahso and others. Although it can be seen that Grics has no longer crossed out the police from the play as in his previous play, this black ridicule is still Grics's strong satire on social security.
