Emerald grade
Super grade: bright green (emerald), apple green, glass floor (translucent, fine texture), even and bright, without impurities and cracks.
Commodity grade: green, oily green land, slightly transparent, mixed and translucent grandmother green veinlets and mottled green.
Ordinary level: lotus root powder floor, bean green, light green, fine white, slightly transparent. Opaque jadeite is generally only used as jade ornaments.
Emerald luster
Emerald is glassy, translucent or transparent. Emerald appears in various colors because it contains different dye ions: usually white, red, green and purple. Yellow, pink, etc
Pure without impurities is white, and if it contains chromium, it is soft and gorgeous light green and dark green, which is called Cui. This variety is the most precious, and people cherish it very much.
If it contains manganese, it is lavender and deep purple, often called spring land or lotus root powder land. Iron-containing elements are dark red, brown red and ochre red, which are called iron.
Containing chromium and copper, it is light blue and light cyan, which is called olive water. In addition to good color, high-grade jadeite is also extremely important in texture. Generally, the color is fresh and beautiful, the texture is transparent and the glass with strong luster is the top grade. On the contrary, the varieties with dry texture and poor transparency are the second.
Emerald classification
Goods A: The goods A of jadeite are natural jadeite, that is to say, it is naturally produced, but its internal structure has not been damaged by any chemical or irradiation methods after being carved, polished and polished by physical methods.
B goods (bleached and polymer imprinted jadeite) were treated by pickling, bleaching and glue injection.
C goods (coated jadeite) dyeing treatment. Used for jadeite dyeing. Whether it is acid leaching bleaching or filling with glue, artificially colored jadeite is called C goods.
