Huang Caishen is the first of the five wealth gods and the most common wealth god in Tibetan Buddhism. His Tibetan name is Zanggelasebo, and he is the protector of the major sects of Tibetan Buddhism. He is the head of the God of Wealth, and is called the God of Wealth because of his golden body. In order to make the bracelets of the god of wealth look more beautiful, they are usually made of gold.

Huang Caishen's image is topless, wearing a skirt and holding Manibao in his right hand, which symbolizes that Bao Guang shines and blesses all beings. Holding a big mongoose in his left hand, the mongoose has jewels in its mouth, which symbolizes treasure. The white conch on his right foot symbolizes that he can go to the sea to get the treasure.
