Things have to start from Jiangkou Town, Pengshan District, Meishan City, Sichuan Province, which is a small town near Minjiang River.
Some villagers found a silver ingot near the Minjiang River, and then others fished it out in the river. The appearance of gold ingot and silver ingot one after another convinced the villagers that there was treasure under the Minjiang River, and everyone rolled up their trouser legs to fish for it, forming a situation in which everyone went into the water to find treasure. This matter was soon known by the local cultural relics bureau. The Cultural Relics Bureau was afraid that the villagers would destroy the treasures in the river, so it quickly set up an archaeological team to study. After investigating the surrounding terrain, the archaeological team chose Minjiang Estuary as the excavation point. When studying the surrounding terrain, they found a mountain forest. When they walked into the mountain forest, they were amazed by Shilong and Shi Hu, and two sculptures were vividly portrayed.
What's even more amazing is that the head of Shilong and Shi Hu turned out to be the mouth of Minjiang River, which they chose as the excavation point. Not far from Shilong and Shi Hu, there is also a cliff with a string of words engraved on it, which makes experts more convinced that there are treasures in the Minjiang River. The words on it are "Shilong vs. Shi Hu, with many treasures and mountains". Does this really mean that there are many gold, silver and jewels under the Minjiang River?
Immediately, the experts decided to dig the Minjiang River quickly. However, before the excavation began, a huge problem was placed in front of archaeologists. The water in the Minjiang River is very fast. If you want to dig here, you must drain the water at the mouth of the Minjiang River, which is almost impossible. It has been suggested that large-scale cofferdam construction at Minjiang Estuary is unprecedented in archaeology. This project has been going on for a long time. Twenty pumps worked day and night, and it took four months to drain the water in the cofferdam. Archaeologists have to investigate and excavate the riverbed below.
At first glance, the area inside the cofferdam has reached more than 20,000 square meters, which also makes experts very upset. They can only divide the key areas first and then dig them, which is also considered as their quick wits. In order to save manpower and material resources, they decided to make a simple estimate with ground penetrating radar first. The place where the radar scanned the sound proved that there might be a baby, so they drew the focus. After some actions, the archaeological team identified several key areas, and the excavation war officially blew. Archaeologists groped in the river ditch and found a silver photo album, which brought them hope.
After expert appraisal, it was found that this silver album was from the Ming Dynasty, and it was probably the silver album under the emperor. Later, the archaeologist found another coin engraved with the words "forgive Bao Tong". This is a Japanese coin. How can it appear under the Minjiang River? After preliminary excavation, experts found many gold, silver and jewels, as well as many copper coins. The treasure they found here can't be measured by quantity. Every once in a while, they will find piles of treasures piled together. Needless to say, what kind of treasures are piled up. Moreover, experts also found a particularly rare reward coin for the Queen Mother of the West. Zhang Jian established the Daxi Dynasty, but it didn't exist for a long time, so this currency is relatively rare, let alone medal-style, and it is a very sought-after treasure in the archaeological community.
This small coin is worth 2 million. There are countless gold bracelets, necklaces and rings. In this cornucopia of Minjiang River, these things are not rare, and it is very common for gold jewelry to appear here. And in the river ditch, there are hollow unicorn patterns, shining with golden light. Subsequently, the gold album with the words "Tianshun" was discovered again, which is also the gold album of Ming Yingzong Zhu Qizhen. There are many gold and silver books in Minjiang River. It seems that Zhang has plundered many precious cultural relics! It is said that Zhang's wealth is extremely rich. It seems that this statement is true. At that time, in order to establish the Great Western Dynasty, he kept fighting outside and collecting treasures. After these efforts, the gains are really great.
In the subsequent excavation, archaeologists also found many other things, among which the little five baht was the most exciting thing for them. Speaking of five baht, archaeologists immediately associate it with more than 20,000 pieces of five baht unearthed from Houhai Tomb in Jiangxi Province. All the relics of the Western Han Dynasty appeared in Minjiang River, saying it was a cornucopia and deserved it. As for how the five baht got into Zhang's hand, I'm afraid only he knows, and it's probably stolen.
The groove of gene is like a safe, which is filled with gold and silver ingots, gold bars and nuggets. Archaeologists only saw so much gold here. Even the golden books of the four emperors of the Ming Dynasty were taken away by Zhang. Every time experts find a gold record, they find it unbelievable.
At the end of the archaeological work, the appearance of a wooden component puzzled all the experts present. This is a piece of wood. It stands to reason that the Minjiang River is in a hurry, and this log should have been washed to the downstream area a long time ago, but this log is firmly hiding here. Experts didn't understand the truth until they cleaned it up. In fact, there are a lot of silver ingots in it, and this log is only used to hold one of their shells. This kind of log also has a special scientific name called wooden sheath.
Archaeological work took about five months to dig up all the gold and silver, and the police also recovered some cultural relics taken away by cultural relics preservation vendors. Those cultural relics are worth as much as 500 million yuan. Generally speaking, more than 30,000 treasures have been unearthed under the Minjiang River.
In the book Estimation of the World, there is an estimate of the number of treasures, and Zhang's treasure number ranks first in Asia and the top three in the world. Archaeologists' half-year action unveiled the mystery of Zhang's treasure, which made us appreciate Zhang's treasure and understand Zhang's efforts to establish the Great Western Dynasty.
