The Zigang Cup Award was named after Lu Zigang, a famous jade carving artist in Ming Dynasty, and was founded by Suzhou Jade Carving Industry Association in 2008. Over the years, the "Zigang Cup" has become an important window for the general public to learn about jade carving and contemporary jade carving people from Suzhou to the whole country and from home to abroad.
