Tourists who bring plants, living animals, pets and animal products into Thailand must apply to the Ministry of Agriculture of Thailand in advance, and after obtaining approval, they will go through customs clearance procedures with the Thai Customs on the basis of passing the animal and plant inspection and quarantine. It is forbidden to bring pork and pork products into Thailand.

In Thai law, the maximum penalty for carrying or smuggling drugs is the death penalty. Do not carry articles or luggage for others to prevent drugs or other contraband from breaking the law.
