Zhu Yuanzhang was curious and decided to have a look. This day is the second day of May. Zhu Yuanzhang left the palace from Xihuamen and went to Hufu. The convoy escorting him didn't go far when someone rushed out of the road to stop driving. The guard thought it was an assassin and rushed up to punch and kick the driver. In fact, this man is not an assassin at all. He is a eunuch, and Nai Shi Yunqi of Xihuamen. Got a beating, dying pointing to the direction of Hu's office, couldn't say a word. The shrewd Zhu Yuanzhang thought there was something wrong with it, and immediately turned around and returned to Xihuamen to climb the building and overlook it. This hope can make Zhu Yuanzhang see a cold sweat! How's it going? Not far away, he saw many soldiers with armor and swords standing on Khufu's pavilion, lurking behind corridors and walls.
Obviously, this Hu is going to rebel! Go kill yourself! Zhu Yuanzhang rushed to send troops to encirclement and suppression, and after hitting five divisions three times, he arrested Hu and escorted him to the city.
And Yun Qi, the great loyal minister, was beaten. He was badly injured and died soon.
Is it really that simple? Does Hu really have the heart of rebellion?
Before Zhu Yuanzhang became emperor, Hu's official position was not high. He was the highest. This official doesn't have much power, but is responsible for sacrifices, etiquette and other things. Previously, he also served as a county magistrate and a judge.
It was not until the Ming army captured Dadoucheng that Hu became a counselor in Zhongshu Province. As we all know, the Ming Dynasty is a continuation of the old system of the Yuan Dynasty, and this Chinese book province is the highest department of the country, with six departments and local administrative agencies, and officials who know politics are subordinate to the second class.
At that time, the prime minister of the Ming Dynasty was Li Shanchang, a North Korean public official who followed Zhu Yuanzhang's debut. But he is old and ill, and often can't take care of government affairs. In fact, all affairs are decided by Yang Xian, the right prime minister. In this situation, Zhu Yuanzhang intends to replace Li Shanchang with a younger one. He thought of Liu Bowen. Can say either good or bad, Liu Bowen won't promise, delay again and again. Zhu Yuanzhang had no choice but to ask Liu Bowen, what do you think of Yang Xian?
Liu Bowen's evaluation of Yang Xian is mixed, saying that this person has the ability, but the measurement is narrow. If he becomes prime minister, I'm afraid he won't be fair.
Ok, with this evaluation, let's draw Yang Xian out of the list of candidates.
Then, Zhu Yuanzhang said another person-Wang Guangyang, Prime Minister of Zhongshu Province.
Liu Bowen's answer is even worse, saying that this person is not as good as Yang Xian.
Left veto, right veto, Zhu Yuanzhang thought and thought, thinking of Hu. Liu Bowen said, Hu is a rotten horse. How can he drive?
As a result, none of the candidates proposed by Zhu Yuanzhang was suitable. But Zhu Yuanzhang only consulted, not listening to Liu Bowen. He stuck to his guns and issued two appointments. One is to be appointed as the right prime minister, and the other is to promote Hu as the left prime minister.
This Liu Bowen is both a crow's mouth and a prophet. He was right when he said that Wang Guangyang could not become prime minister. This Wang Guangyang likes drinking, and he can never get enough of it. He not only ignores things, but also spoils them. In a rage, Zhu Yuanzhang demoted him to Guangdong Province to participate in politics.
The position of the right prime minister is suspended again. Who will take over? At this time, Li Shanchang lived in seclusion in the name of a surname and was demoted. There is only one Hu left. As a result, Hu became a prime minister, monopolizing the power of state affairs.
This beard is different. He is a player, and Hu is a doer with strong ability. So it was favored by Zhu Yuanzhang. It was a miracle, but it was favored by the holy family. Hu got a little carried away and gradually became arrogant.
According to the records in Ming History, Hu's deviant behavior can be summarized into three aspects.
First, he did not report to Zhu Yuanzhang and acted without authorization.
Second, privately dismantle the various departments of the imperial court to perform Zhu Yuanzhang's plays and hide everything that is unfavorable to them.
Third, those who take bribes and want to be promoted, and those who make mistakes and want to be exempted from punishment, all give gifts to Prime Minister Hu. There are all kinds of gifts, including jewels, famous horses and antiques. Hu did not refuse. If you want to die, I'll bury it.
So, isn't Hu, whose desire for power is expanding at a high speed, satisfied at this time? Does he want to rebel, get rid of Zhu Yuanzhang and reign himself?
Look at Zhu Yuanzhang's initial charge of Hu was the thirteenth year of Hongwu,1the first month of 380. It is not rebellion, but "planting the party without authority." This crime began in September of the 12th year of Hongwu 1379. Zhanchengguo came to pay tribute, but the receptionist did not report it to Zhu Yuanzhang. A eunuch knew about it and informed Zhu Yuanzhang privately. Zhu Yuanzhang was furious and immediately asked Hu He. The two kowtowed and pleaded guilty, stating that does should be responsible for this matter, so does was at fault.
Zhu Yuanzhang questioned does. It was not pushed to Zhongshu Province, saying that this should be the responsibility of Zhongshu Province.
This can make Zhu Yuanzhang angry. You push me, I push you, and play football? Therefore, Zhu Yuanzhang ordered all relevant personnel to be put into prison. Speaking of it, this is just the negligence of the staff. But Zhu Yuanzhang didn't think so. He felt cheated by a group of ministers and he was put on the shelf. Who else can be trusted in this court? Be sure to check and find out. Can check to check, no results. I have no choice but to find a scapegoat. who is it? Poor Wang Guangyang. Zhu Yuanzhang sentenced him to death.
Right here, but I don't know to rock the boat-there is a concubine named Chen. After Wang Guangyang died, she committed suicide.
Zhu Yuanzhang thinks that this woman is noble and should be commended. Can check the background of this Chen, just know that she is the daughter of an official, sold as an official slave. According to the regulations, government slaves can only be given to heroes, not wives. Zhu Yuanzhang was angry again and reviewed the relevant personnel. Six officials, including Hu, were implicated in the censorship. After that, the people in the DPRK were in panic and impeached each other. All I can think about is knocking each other down and picking myself out of a pile of right and wrong.
/kloc-in the first month of 0/380, ministers impeached Hu one after another.
Cheng Tujie falsely accused Hu of rebellion and usurpation in the memorial. Cheng Shangsong also impeached Hu before the suggestion, saying that he exceeded his authority. Zhu Yuanzhang sent someone to investigate Hu thoroughly, but there was no sign of rebellion. Therefore, he was first accused of "having no authority to plant the party." Soon, Hu's other charges were found out-colluding with the Northern Yuan Dynasty and collaborating with the enemy. After ten years of trial, many of Hu's crimes were not only found out, but also his accomplices were exposed, including a general named Li Shanchang, Lu Zhongxiang, and a famous minister, Song Lian. As many as 30,000 people were killed by Zhu Yuanzhang.
Visible, the so-called "Yun Qi talk about change" is a joke of unofficial history scholars, rather than the historical truth, which is one of them. Secondly, does Hu really have so many sins?
We know when Hu served as prime minister. Hongwu began to be prime minister in the seventeenth year, and was executed in the first month of the thirteenth year, so the total ruling time of * * * was only two and a half years. If he wants to rebel, he will need a series of arrangements and plans. Because although Hu became prime minister, he was a civil servant and had no military power. If he wants to rebel, he can only win over people with military strength. Did he win? To be precise, it is to take advantage.
Most of Zhu Yuanzhang's military commanders are founding heroes. Therefore, I am proud of myself and very arrogant. After being reprimanded and demoted by Zhu Yuanzhang, he bears a grudge. This provides a new space for Hu. He wooed these people as his henchmen.
There are two key figures here, one is Hou Lu Zhongxiang of Ji 'an and the other is Hou Feiju of Pingliang. They soon became close friends with Hu. Hu used them to recruit. Hu at this time, not to rebel, but to prepare for regime change. Later, Hu also dragged his old boss Li Shanchang into the water, and he married his daughter to Li Shanchang's nephew Li You. Then use Li You to lobby Li Shanchang. Li Shanchang is old and can't restrain Hu and others, so he has to say, I am old, and you can run amok after I die.
All this shows that Hu has a rebellious heart, but he is not determined to rebel. His rebellious heart mostly lies in self-protection. As Zhu Yuanzhang became more and more suspicious of the powerful princes in the dynasty, and those founding heroes were arrogant and broke the law, various factions were formed among the bureaucrats, and there were contradictions between the civil and military ministers, and there were also contradictions between Huaixi Group and Dong Zhe Group. They pushed each other out and attacked each other in front of Zhu Yuanzhang. Faced with this confusion, Zhu Yuanzhang had to operate on his brothers who fought side by side and shared weal and woe. Zhu Yuanzhang can take advantage of the mutual attacks between bureaucratic groups and clean them up one by one.
Of course, Hu was sharp-edged, and Zhu Yuanzhang killed him on the charge of "framing the party without political power." At the same time, vestbo and Tu Jie were killed. However, it doesn't make sense to put the prime minister to death on this charge, so after Hu's death, the case was re-investigated, and Hu's charges were "communicating with Japan", "communicating with Kou" and "rebellion". And the case has been involved.
Ten years later, the case made a new breakthrough. In the twenty-first year of Hongwu, in 1388, the Ming army was at war with the Northern Yuan Army. The so-called "Northern Yuan" means that Yuan Shundi fled back to the northern grassland after being driven out of the metropolis, which was called "Northern Yuan" in history. There was a general named Ji Feng in the Northern Yuan Army who was captured during the Northern Expedition of the Ming Army. According to his confession, Prime Minister Hu Ceng contacted Prince Bei Yuan through him and planned to overthrow Zhu Yuanzhang's Ming Dynasty by the soldiers of Bei Yuan. Zhu Yuanzhang didn't know about it all the time, because Feng was taken back to Nanking and was actually hidden by Li Shanchang.
In May of the same year, Monsoon was arrested again. Tell me about it. Li Shanchang, a surname, is naturally involved. At the same time, his slaves Lv Zhongqian and Lv Zhongxiang wrote to Zhu Yuanzhang, claiming that Li Shanchang, Lv Zhongxiang and others had participated in Hu's "rebellion" and were "Hu Party" people.
So, in the 23rd year of Hongwu, Zhu Yuanzhang killed Li Shanchang, Lu Zhongxiang, Mao, Zheng Yuchun, Lu Ju, Jin Chaoxing, Li Bosheng, and implicated more than 30,000 people. And announced to the world with "Show the Traitor Record". At this time, Li Shanchang was 77 years old. Seeing that he was old, Zhu Yuanzhang hanged himself, and more than 70 people in his family were all killed.
In the second year, the doctor of the Kingdom used Zhu Yuanzhang of Shu to redress Li Shanchang's grievances. Therefore, people thought that Li Shanchang and others were wronged at that time.
Fundamentally speaking, the Hu case originated from the suspicion and distrust of Zhu Yuanzhang. Zhu Yuanzhang's doubts formed long ago. As early as during the peasant war, he closely protected his generals. In order to prevent them from mutiny, all the generals left their wives in Beijing as hostages. In this way, I still don't trust, sent a confidant to the army. Even so, it is impossible to prevent. In the harsh war, Zhu Yuanzhang did not experience the rebellion of many people. Just say two of them, the first one-Shao Rong's rebellion.
Shao Rong is a comrade-in-arms who revolted with Zhu Yuanzhang. He is brave and good at fighting. In the 18th year of Zheng Zheng, in 1358, Shao Yong and Xu Da jointly conquered Yixing, and in the 19th year of Zheng Zheng, Zhang Shicheng was defeated by Yuhang. "Tong Mingjian" records: "Mao started his army and was the most famous general. Xu, Chang Yuchun and Rong are good at fighting. " Shao Rong was promoted to be the official of the Book of Peace for his repeated exploits, ranking above Chang Yuchun.
However, in the twenty-second year of Zheng Zheng, Shao Rong and Zhao Jizu, who participated in politics, plotted to kill Zhu Yuanzhang, and were exposed by Song Guoxing. Zhu Yuanzhang immediately sent troops to search for Shao and Zhao, chained them, prepared wine and food, and then drank with them. Zhu Yuanzhang asked: "I am in the same period as you, and I hope to have a successful career and enjoy wealth." How can you kill me? "
Shao Rong replied: "We went out to seize the city over the years and suffered a lot. We can't play with our wives at home, so we have this plan. "
Zhao Jizu went on to say, "If we had done it earlier, we wouldn't have seen the hound die under the bed today. What has happened is that crying is useless and you can only drink. "
Hearing this, Zhu Yuanzhang killed them both.
Let's talk about the second-Xie Zaixing's rebellion.
Xie Zaixing is also an old general of Zhu Yuanzhang. Moreover, he is the father-in-law of Zhu Yuanzhang's nephew Zhu Wenzheng. Zhu Yuanzhang called him "in-laws".
In the 22nd year of Zheng Zheng, Xie Zaixing guarded Zhuji. At that time, Miao troops in Jinhua and Chuzhou rebelled against Zhu Yuanzhang, and Zhang Shicheng took the opportunity to send Zhang Shixin to attack Zhuji. Xie Zaixing fought hard for more than 20 days and defeated the Zhang Shicheng army. After the battle, Xie Zaixing sent confidants, left manager and millions of family members to sell goods privately in Hangzhou occupied by Zhang Shicheng, which was seized by Zhu Yuanzhang. Zhu Yuanzhang was afraid of leaking the military plane, so he killed the two men and hung their heads in Xie Zaixing's office, which was an insulting warning to Xie Zaixing.
Later, Zhu Yuanzhang decided to marry Xie Zaixing's second daughter to Xu Da without authorization, and sent Li Menggeng to join the army to control Zhuji's military forces, reducing Xie Zaixing to lieutenant. This made Xie Zaixing extremely angry, and he was humiliated continuously. Obviously, he took people instead of people. So, there is no grandfather here, he has his own place. Xie Zaixing arrested Li Menggeng and went to Shaoxing to hand over Zhang Shicheng of Lu Zhen's department.
These two rebellions had a far-reaching impact on Zhu Yuanzhang. Before he became emperor, he thought about how to treat heroes. After the establishment of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang took various measures to make the princes loyal to his Zhu Ming dynasty and prevent his officials from rebelling, but he always felt uneasy. Therefore, the occurrence of the Hu case is no accident. The occurrence of this case was not only caused by the power struggle of bureaucratic factions, but also caused by Zhu Yuanzhang's distrust of governors and former ministers.
Zhu Yuanzhang is an emperor who only believes in himself. Such an emperor eventually became the maker of unjust cases. Although the Hu case is not an unjust case, it involves a wide range and wronged too many innocent people.
