In the first year of the Republic of China (19 12), the local Zhang Shao III (1882- 1965438, governor of Yunnan and magistrate of Dali) convened and organized local gentry to build Taiji Bridge. On the waterfall of Dieshui River, a double-hole cantilever stone bridge was erected in the air. This bridge is built with stone piers and paved with stone strips.
