How was that man found smuggling 1.8 Jin of gold?
According to a report on September 25th, the Sri Lankan customs police recently arrested a bold man who tried to smuggle 904g (about1.8kg) of gold and jewelry through his rectum. The value of these gold and jewels exceeds 29,370 US dollars (about10.9 million RMB).

This man is 45 years old. At that time, he was preparing to board the plane at Colombo International Airport in Sri Lanka. The inspector found him walking strangely and took him into custody. Upon inquiry, the man told the truth. Then the customs police detained him and took out the gold and jewels he had hidden in his rectum. A customs officer claimed that they took four gold nuggets, three gold foils, six gold ornaments and two gold-plated silver ornaments from the man's rectum, and the man also confessed his smuggling behavior.

Actually, this is not the first time. In the past few years, the police have also discovered the same modus operandi or similar cases. Usually, these smugglers will buy gold in places like Dubai or Singapore because the price of gold in these places is relatively low, and then bring gold to India and other places for sale and profit.

Just last week, a Sri Lankan woman was arrested by the customs when she was preparing to fly to India because she had hidden gold weighing 314.5g (about 0.63kg) in her rectum.

The prosecutor's eyes are so sharp that those smuggling activities have nowhere to hide.
