If grass grows on my grave in the future, doesn't that mean I'm a fugitive? ?

Since then, this idea has been lingering in Cixi's mind and can't be erased, so that Cixi can't even sleep. So she called Prince Chun, who was in charge of building the tomb, and asked her to solve the problem of grass growing on the grave.

But this stumped the masters who built the mausoleum. They have been engaged in the construction of tombs for so many years. For the first time, they heard that someone wanted to make sure that the grave was free of grass. Everyone, you look at me and I look at you, and your eyes are extremely confused.

However, she dared not disobey the orders of Empress Dowager Cixi, so she pinned her hopes on historical books. They read a lot of history books and classics, and finally found a way to ensure that the grave doesn't grow grass for many years.

The specific method is to mix sulfur and lime into the soil, then fry the soil with an iron pan, and spread the fried soil on the grave to ensure that the grave does not grow grass all the year round.

The mystery lies in that after sulfur lime is mixed with soil and fried, all the nutrients in the soil disappear, which will kill the grass seeds in the soil and make them unable to grow. Microorganisms can't grow without nutrition, and weeds can't grow naturally.

According to the practice in the book, these masters set up hundreds of cauldrons in front of the mausoleum at the same time, then added sulfur and lime and began to stir fry constantly. Finally, the finished product is evenly spread on the top of Cixi Mausoleum and compacted.

Ordinary grave soil has strong water permeability. Once in the rainy season with terrible precipitation, part of the rainwater will seep into the top of the mausoleum underground palace along the soil and corrode little by little. Another part of the water will be trapped on the surface, causing the problem of water accumulation in the grave.

Because of water leakage, many tombs need to be repaired every once in a while, but this is not the root cause, and the subsequent maintenance work is time-consuming and laborious. Because Cixi's tomb soil has been specially treated, it has prevented the roots of plants from damaging the top floor of the underground palace, avoiding the situation that rainwater leaks from top to bottom, and avoiding the situation of water accumulation.
