Can large plush toys be machine washed?
I don't think so

The main reason is that plush toys are usually made of synthetic fibers and chemicals and are not easy to machine wash. When buying plush toys, they will have a logo on them, indicating the cleaning method. If not, you can ask the clerk how to maintain and clean it. Besides, you can judge by their materials.

I searched the internet for cleaning methods, which can be roughly divided into several categories:

[washing hands]

Prepare a washbasin with water, pour detergent into it and stir until it is completely dissolved, then put the plush toy in it and squeeze it by hand to melt the detergent, then pour out the sewage and wash the bear with clear water, wrap the plush toy with clean dry cloth for a few minutes, suck some water, then air dry it, or let it bask in the sun.

[washing]

Before washing in the washing machine directly, you need to put the plush toys into the laundry bag according to the general cleaning procedure. Using cold washing essence is better than washing powder, and it does little harm to wool. It's also good to use ordinary double-effect shampoo. It needs to be wrapped with a dry towel after washing and before dehydration, so as not to hurt the surface.

[wipe]

Wipe the surface with a soft sponge or clean dry cloth dipped in diluted neutral detergent, and then wipe with water.

[dry cleaning]

You can send it directly to the dry cleaner, or you can go to the plush doll shop to buy a special dry cleaning agent for cleaning plush dolls and go home to clean them. Spray the dry cleaning agent on the surface of the plush toy first, and wipe it with a dry cloth after two or three minutes.
