I. Moisture
Potted chrysanthemums need a lot of water, so they can't be dried. They must keep the soil moist, and of course they must not accumulate too much water. Too dry will greatly shorten the flowering period, and stagnant water will lead to root rot.
Second, light.
Chrysanthemums need strong light, and sufficient light can make flowers colorful. All dark chrysanthemums should have enough light, and the stronger the light, the better. For example, the so-called chrysanthemum must be purple-black under full illumination. Light-colored chrysanthemums, especially green chrysanthemums, must be protected from light, so that the colors can be more vivid.
Third, pruning
Cut off the flower heads of potted chrysanthemums that have blossomed, let the foot buds at the bottom sprout, and then cut off the new branches appropriately to maintain this plump shape. In this way, Xiao Ju can continue to blossom until the next time. If it is a chrysanthemum with big flowers, it needs to be replanted before it can bloom again.
Fourth, matters needing attention
It should be noted that the indoor environment is poorly ventilated, which is easy to cause the harm of aphids. After aphids appear, they can be prevented by spraying tobacco water or hanging yellow glue boards around flowerpots.
