On July 9, 2002/KLOC-0, the Central Civilization Office issued a notice to restore Nanning's status as a national civilized city. In the evaluation, the Central Civilization Office believes that after a year of rectification efforts, the urban environment and people's quality of life in Nanning have been significantly improved, the civilized quality of citizens and the level of urban development have been significantly improved, and gratifying changes have taken place in the creation of civilized cities, which has condensed spiritual strength, provided a good atmosphere and created favorable conditions for promoting the high-quality development of Nanning. Therefore, Nanning is considered as a national civilized city.
