Nanyang Central Hospital was established in 1949, and 1995 was rated as a national "third-class first-class" hospital. It is the only "third-class first-class hospital" in Nanyang, the center of medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, first aid, prevention, health care and rehabilitation in southwest Henan, and the teaching hospitals of Xinxiang Medical College of Zhengzhou University, Xinxiang Medical College of Henan University of Science and Technology and Nanyang Medical College. 1995 was rated as the national third-class first-class hospital and the only third-class first-class hospital in Nanyang. In May 2000, it was rated as "Top Ten Hospitals in Henan Province", which is the center of medical treatment, scientific research, first aid, prevention, health care, rehabilitation and teaching in southwest Henan.
