Responsibilities of equipment nurses:

1. Visit the patient in the ward before operation to understand the condition. If necessary, attend the pre-operation seminar to familiarize yourself with the operation steps so as to work closely with the operators.

2. Wash your hands half an hour in advance and wear surgical clothes. Lay the sterile instrument table, put the surgical instruments on the lifting table and instrument table in the order of use, and check the instruments, gauze, saline pad, suture needle, etc. Talk to visiting nurses in detail.

3. Assist in laying sterile surgical sheets.

4. When cutting the skin, the knife for cutting the skin and the gauze pad for wiping the subcutaneous blood should be taken back immediately and replaced with a clean blade and a wet gauze pad. Pass the instrument accurately according to the surgical steps and express it in sign language as much as possible. After the equipment is used, it should be quickly retrieved, wiped and put back in its original place. After each use, the suction head needs to be sucked and cleaned with normal saline to avoid blood coagulation and lumen blockage.

5. All kinds of sutures needed for the operation should be put on 1 ~ 2 stitches in advance, and the sutures should be protected with sterile towels. When threading a needle and thread, you should first pull out the thread end 6 ~ 8 cm, and clean up the stub of the harness at any time to prevent injury.

6. Protect the cleanliness of the instrument table and operation site, and strictly carry out aseptic operation. Before cutting jejunum viscera, protect the lower part of the incision with sterile towel, and the contaminated instruments and materials should be isolated in the bending plate.

7. The specimens taken out during the operation were wrapped with normal saline gauze and fixed with towel tongs. If it is not left behind, it needs to be sent for inspection. The doctor should fill in the examination application form, take samples during the operation and give them to the visiting nurse for examination in time.

8. Before suturing body cavity and deep subcutaneous tissue, check instruments, dressings, stitches, etc. Communicate with visiting nurses in detail to prevent foreign bodies from being left behind.

9. After the operation, according to the principle of disinfection, cleaning and disinfection, dry the instrument (dry and grease it, pack it according to the surgical instrument card, and disinfect it for later use. Sharp, precise and expensive medical instruments should be cleaned separately and put in the counter).
