Where is Xianyang in today's history?
The ancient Xianyang is today's Xianyang, Shaanxi.

Xianyang, a prefecture-level city in Shaanxi Province, is the capital of the first feudal dynasty "Daqin Empire" in China. It is located in the hinterland of Qinchuan, Shaanxi Province, with Weihe River in the south and Lushan Mountain in the north, so it is called Xianyang.

The name of Xianyang began in the 12th year of Qin Xiaogong (350 BC), and it has been more than 2360 years since then. In this ancient and mysterious yellow land, there have been not only all-powerful emperors and generals, but also many historical figures.

For example, Hou Ji, the agricultural god in China, the famous "Class Three" in the Western Han Dynasty (Ban Gu, Ban Biao and Ban Zhao), Li Jing, a famous general in the Tang Dynasty, Liu Guyu, who was equally famous with Kang Youwei in the late Qing Dynasty, and Yu Youren, an inspector of the National Government in the Republic of China.

Extended data

The development of Xianyang in history can be summarized into four periods:

The first period, mainly from Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties to the pre-Qin period, has not yet been named Xianyang, so it can be called the pre-Qin ancient Yongzheng period;

The second period, from Qin Xiaogong to build Xianyang city and move the capital to Xiang Yu's entry into the customs to burn Xianyang, can be called Qin and Ding Du period;

In the third stage, the new city was rebuilt after the establishment of the Han Dynasty, and before the reconstruction of Xianyang City in the early Ming Dynasty, it was called the period of frequent storage and waste;

The fourth period, from the relocation of Hongwu County in Ming Dynasty to the location of Xianyang City today, is called the relocation period.
