The concept of advanced students going to Japan is a unique way in Japan to let foreigners study in Japanese enterprises by participating in the actual operation on the spot. Japanese enterprises provide further education conditions, and are responsible for most of the expenses of advanced students in Japan, and pay the advanced students' further education allowance.

Applied technology advanced students are engaged in Sino-Japanese friendly cooperation projects, and their study time is 1 year. /kloc-after 0/year, some majors can be converted into technical interns.

After the one-year applied technology training for technical interns expires, it will be postponed for 1-2 years in order to consolidate the learning achievements.

The difference between advanced students, foreign students and laborers is that foreign students go to Japanese schools to learn basic knowledge and do not participate in on-site work practice; Laborers only work and perform contracts, without learning opportunities, and enterprises are not responsible for guidance. Workers are paid monthly, and individuals bear all the living expenses. Under the guidance of enterprises, advanced students learn the specific production management, quality management methods and manufacturing technologies in the actual production process of Japanese enterprises through a certain period of study and on-site work practice, and only receive study allowances without remuneration.

The residence qualification of advanced students in Japan is "further study". According to Japan's entry into the country, the so-called further education is "an activity accepted by Japanese public and private institutions to learn technical skills". Because the entry law restricts the residence qualification of advanced students, advanced students are not allowed to engage in activities that are inconsistent with their residence qualification in Japan.
