What does an oval face look like?

The oval face is a standard face shape. The horizontal ratio of the eyes is exactly one-fifth of the cheek width, and the vertical ratio of the forehead, nose, and chin is also exactly the same.

The edges and corners are relatively sharp, the facial lines are smooth, the width of the forehead and the sharpness of the chin are relatively moderate. The oval face is very even, and the width of the forehead will be wider than the width of the masseter. Although the width of the forehead is larger, it does not affect the overall oval shape of the face.

Oval face features: smooth curves and even overall contours. The forehead is moderately wide and evenly balanced with the lower part. The middle part of the cheekbone is the widest, and the chin is rounded. The oval face, also known as the oval face, is the most standard face shape for Chinese people.

Other face shapes:

Inverted triangle face, oval face, round face. Inverted triangle face (awl face): wide forehead, flat hairline, widest eyebrows, steep cheeks, and pointed chin.

Melon-seed face: The facial lines are smooth and taper down from the cheekbones. This is different from the awl face. The melon-seed face has small cheeks and a round forehead.

Round face: The facial lines are smooth, and the length of the face is almost the same as the width of the face. There is basically no bones in this face shape (the type where the bones are wrapped in flesh).

If a line connecting the center of the hairline, cheeks and chin forms a rhombus, it is a rhombus face. A pointed chin and high cheekbones are the hallmarks of a diamond-shaped face. The main difference between a diamond face and a heart-shaped face is the hairline. If you have a diamond face, the hairline will be narrower.
