At present, it has become a clinical specialty integrating medicine, teaching and research, featuring the treatment of skin diseases with the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine. There are 3 doctors, 4 masters, 6 chief physicians and 6 deputy chief physicians in the department. Most of them have the experience of studying abroad and further study, and experts and professors have rich clinical experience and their own specialties. Department beds 15, equipped with pathology laboratory, fungus laboratory, allergy laboratory and venereal disease laboratory; There are many experts visiting every day, and the maximum number of visits can reach 470, which can receive patients with various skin diseases and sexually transmitted diseases. Physical therapy room includes: shallow X-ray machine, UVB therapeutic instrument, various lasers, electrolytic instrument, etc. At present, the department has two doctoral supervisors and four master supervisors, and undertakes the teaching of dermatology and venereology for graduate students in peking university health science center and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and the guidance of doctoral and master students.
