How to transport bamboo?
Two cultivation methods: soil culture and hydroponics.

How to raise bamboo in water?

1. Temperature requirements: transit bamboo is relatively cold-resistant, and the suitable growth temperature is 20-28℃, which can withstand the low temperature of 2-3℃, but it should be protected against freezing in winter. If the temperature is too low, it will cause frostbite and wither.

Second, lighting conditions: transit bamboo is a shade-loving plant with excellent shade tolerance, which is suitable for being placed in semi-shade places. Never expose yourself to strong light, otherwise it will lead to the yellowing and slow growth of the rich bamboo.

3. Requirements for water quality: When transporting bamboo by water, tap water just released cannot be directly used. You have to settle the water first to reduce the chlorinated compounds in the water, so as to ensure the normal growth of the transported bamboo.

Fourth, pay attention to fertilization: the transferred bamboo has strong resistance to fertilizer, and generally apply compound fertilizer every 2-3 months. If it is hydroponics, potassium dihydrogen phosphate should be added after changing water every two weeks to ensure its normal nutrient absorption.

Fifth, the branching ability of transit bamboo is worse than other trees and flowers, so when planting, it is best to concentrate many branches and plant them in a pot, so that the ornamental effect will be much better and the air purification ability will be much better.

Sixth, a small amount of culture solution or compound fertilizer should be added in time after rooting to ensure that the branches are strong, but not too much, otherwise it will cause root burning. Generally speaking, fertilizing once a month is enough.

Seventh, never put transit bamboo next to TV or air conditioner. In this case, it is easy to dry up and seriously affect the viewing effect.

Eighth, the most suitable time for hydroponics is April-September, because this is the easiest time to take root and survive.

Ninth, properly spray water on the transferred bamboo leaves, especially in dry weather, to ensure their stretching and richness.

Tenth, change the water once every two weeks. If the water is not changed all the time, it will lead to the accumulation of bacteria in the water, and then root rot will occur.

Method for transporting bamboo by soil culture

First, the growth temperature, like hydroponics, the suitable growth temperature for transporting bamboo is 20-28 degrees, but once in winter, we should pay special attention to the fact that the temperature should not be too low, otherwise it will be easy to get frostbite.

Second, the lighting requirements, suitable for semi-cloudy places, avoid strong light, otherwise it is easy to make the leaves yellow.

Third, the basin soil is wet, and the transferred bamboo is more resistant to waterlogging and afraid of drying, so it must be ensured that the basin soil is in a wet state. If it is too dry, it will cause the leaves to turn yellow. Generally speaking, water once every 2-3 days, which can reduce the number of watering in winter.

Fourth, water is often sprayed on the blades to maintain a high environmental humidity. Leaves that are too dry will dry up.

Fifth, the most suitable time for transplanting potted plants is April-September, just like hydroponics, it is the most suitable time for rooting.

Sixth, during the peak growth period from May to September, granular compound fertilizer can be applied to the transferred bamboo basin soil 2-3 times a month to keep the foliage lush.

Propagation of transit bamboo;

Transplanted bamboo is generally propagated by cutting. Because the leaves at the base of the stem are often easy to fall off and the deformability of the plant is poor, cutting and pruning are usually combined. For example, in spring, cut the cut branches into leafless necks of 5- 10 cm, insert them in clean coarse river sand, water them, cover them with plastic bags, and put them in a bright place, and they can take root in about 25 days.
