The Institute of Stomatology has eight laboratories, including dental caries, periodontal disease, oral mucosa, oral plastic surgery, head and neck tumor, fixed restoration, mobile restoration and orthodontics. 1989, the Ministry of Health approved our hospital to set up the Key Laboratory of Oral Biomedical Engineering of the Ministry of Health, which passed the acceptance in 1994 and was opened to the public. The laboratory consists of four laboratories: oral biology, oral biomechanics, oral materials science and oral medical information. In 2002, this key laboratory was successively approved as the key laboratory of Sichuan Province and the key laboratory of the Ministry of Education.
