Zhou Lian is an academician of China Academy of Engineering.
Zhou Lian, male, born in March 1940, is a famous expert in superconducting and rare metal materials. 1994 was elected as an academician of China Academy of Engineering. 1963 graduated from northeastern university, devoted to the research and development of superconducting and rare metal materials, presided over and participated in major academic activities at home and abroad for many times, and published more than 480 papers. He has successively won the National Invention Award, the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Award 2 1, and the National Invention Patent 14. He used to be president of Northwest Nonferrous Metals Research Institute, chairman of International Materials Federation, chairman of China Materials Research Society, director of Metallurgical and Chemical Materials Department of China Academy of Engineering, director of National New Materials Industry Development Strategy Advisory Committee, member of International Cryogenic Engineering Materials Committee, executive committee of World Titanium Association, etc. 65438-0988-2000 Chief scientist of China Superconducting Expert Committee, the first president of China Titanium Industry Association, and the representative of the 9th and 10th National People's Congress.
