Strong resistance to pests, drought and waterlogging, suitable for water growth, salt tolerance and strong wind resistance. It is a rare and excellent landscaping tree species in coastal areas, especially suitable for afforestation in coastal reclamation areas. Melaleuca trees grow fast, and can be pruned into a 3-meter-high tower shape in 2-3 years, and can be cultivated into street trees with DBH 5-6 cm and branch height 1.6-2 meters in 3-4 years. The trunk of an adult tree can reach1.5 ~ 20cm thick, and the height of the tree is 6 ~ 8m, forming a cone with a crown width of 3 ~ 5m. At the same time, it has good branching performance, pruning resistance, dense, soft and slender branches, new branches spread upwards layer by layer, and golden leaves are densely distributed throughout the crown, which makes the crown form a bright golden cone and produces a strong visual effect. In addition to the natural form, it can usually be trimmed into various shapes such as sphere, umbrella, hedge and pyramid.
