Deciduous shrub of Huawei in Tang Di, height 1-2m, sparse height 3m. Branchlets are green, cylindrical, glabrous, usually arched and angular. Tang Hua has no trunk, and the green shoots are clustered from the surface, so it is clustered.
Pruning method
Tangdi likes sunny and warm environment. Also resistant to shade, not cold, but resistant to moisture. In order to make Tang Di blossom and bear fruit every year, it should be pruned reasonably every year. Pruning will be carried out in1-February. Branches such as dead branches, too dense branches, and old branches with hard and white bases are cut off from the base. Plant regeneration is carried out every 5- 10 years. After flowering, the plants leave the ground 10- 15cm, and all other parts are cut off. When the flowers in Tang Di are in full bloom, leaving branches about 50 cm high and cutting off the upper branches can promote the germination of the lower buds. In the spring of the following year, from February to March, we choose sunny days to prune the flowers in Tang Di for a few days, which can make the branches bloom more vigorously and increase the number of flowers in that year. If you want to have more branches, you can keep only 7 cm and cut off the rest.
Matters needing attention
In the process of pruning, if branches are found to be dying from top to bottom, they should be cut off immediately, otherwise the dead state will spread to the roots, leading to the death of the whole plant. After the leaves fall, there is still the possibility of dead branches, so we should observe and deal with them in time. Because most of the flowers in Tang Di bloom at the tips of new branches, they can only be cut very thin when pruning, and should not be cut short. If it is cut short, the flower buds of the branches will be cut off, which will directly affect the flowering of the next spring. After winter or before germination in early spring, cutting off too dense old branches, branchlets and branches with pests and diseases can not only keep the plants symmetrical and beautiful, but also bloom luxuriantly.
