Can't I repay the installment beauty loan?
You must pay it back because you have signed a legal loan contract. If you don't do this, you will be involved in debt disputes and may face the risk of litigation or debt collection.

On July 28th, 20021year, China Consumers Association learned that the number of complaints about beauty salons accepted by the National Consumers Association in the first half of 20021year increased significantly compared with the same period last year.

The number of complaints about beauty salons in the first half of 2020 was 10270, and in the first half of 2026 it was 16459, a year-on-year increase of 60%, ranking fifth among all complaints.

Consumers Association reminds consumers that when receiving medical beauty services, they should pay attention to whether the institution has obtained the Practice License for Medical Institutions and whether the practicing doctors have medical qualification certificates.

In particular, we should carefully choose American loans, rationally assess risks, recognize our own economic situation and repayment ability, and don't cheat with others when signing online loan contracts.

Some "beauty loan" advertisements attract young people with low interest or even interest-free, induce advanced and ultra-high consumption, and are suspected of false propaganda and misleading consumers, causing adverse effects. To this end, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television decided to stop broadcasting "Beauty Loan" and similar advertisements from now on. (See Beijing Youth Daily on September 28th)

The emergence of medical and beauty industry loans was originally intended to alleviate the pressure of medical and beauty consumption, but it sometimes goes bad in the process of operation. For example, some platforms play low-interest monthly interest rates in publicity, but when converted into actual annualized interest rates, they obviously exceed the red line set by relevant laws and regulations; Some platforms, driven by interests, illegally provide loans to groups such as college students without income sources; There are also some medical beauty institutions that cooperate with fraud gangs to trick young women into plastic surgery in beauty institutions with high-paying jobs and defraud customers of plastic surgery loans, but later they refuse to cash in their jobs for various reasons.

Therefore, it is necessary and timely to stop "beauty loan" and similar advertisements, which is helpful to standardize the advertising order of radio, television and network platforms and protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers. China's "Advertising Law" stipulates that advertisements shall not contain false or misleading contents, and shall not deceive or mislead consumers. The Measures for the Administration of Broadcasting of Radio and Television Advertisements also clarify that the broadcasting activities of radio and television advertisements should adhere to the people-oriented principle and follow the principles of legality, truthfulness, fairness, honesty and credibility.

Of course, there is still a lot of work to be done to stop the chaos of "beauty loans". For example, relevant departments should strengthen supervision and severely punish violations according to law. For institutions with abnormally high interest rates and illegal lending, the regulatory authorities shall, according to the seriousness of the case, take measures such as suspending business, ordering correction, informed criticism, and canceling business qualifications to urge rectification. If the circumstances are serious, it shall be transferred to the relevant departments for handling. For another example, standardize the service behavior of the medical and beauty industry from the source and guide the healthy development of the industry.

At present, some places are jointly carrying out a hundred-day battle to rectify medical beauty chaos. The key contents include cleaning up illegal medical beauty, cleaning up illegal advertising information, and "clearing the pit" of medical beauty loans. It is expected that this rectification action can form a joint regulatory force, thoroughly investigate and eliminate related risks and hidden dangers, and ensure the safety, quality and reassurance of medical and aesthetic services.
