What should I do if I find my nose askew after rhinoplasty?
If the nose is crooked after augmentation rhinoplasty, it is generally found that the nose shape is not ideal within 2 weeks after operation. If it is crooked, it can be corrected in some ways. During this period, the nose has not grown well, so it can be pressed with gauze for 2~3 days, and the general skew will be improved.

After this stage, if the nose is found to be skewed, it will not be so easy to improve, and the effect of manual reduction is not great, and the wound tissue has gradually healed. So wait for the nose to fully recover and adjust it after 6 months.

If there is infection at the same time, the doctor will take out the prosthesis in time to control the infection, and then decide the rhinoplasty operation according to the situation after the inflammation has completely subsided. If the nose is seriously skewed, or even a nasal prosthesis is pushed out of the skin and exposed to the air, then the prosthesis should be taken out and the operation should be decided after the nose heals for three months.

After augmentation rhinoplasty, the nose becomes crooked, which may be due to insufficient anatomical cavity of the doctor, incorrect placement of the prosthesis, or personal postoperative care problems. As long as you choose regular doctors and hospitals and do a good job of postoperative care, you can usually avoid the problem of nasal alar deviation after operation.
