Ganlong southern tour

Landscape Relics of the Emperor's South Tour Canal
Emperor Kangxi, Emperor Qianlong and other emperors toured the south along the canal to understand the political situation and public opinion, which promoted the construction of the Yellow River channel and seawall and the improvement of farmland water conservancy construction projects, and also left a large number of cultural landscape remains along the canal, leaving many footprints that can be explored so far.
Daicun dam
Emperor Kangxi passed through the Shandong Canal during his southern tour, and once praised Daicunba: "I have visited Wenshang County for water diversion many times, and I was deeply impressed by the wonderful opening of Baiying."
Yangzhou royal wharf
Emperor Kangxi visited the south five times and lived in the palace of the west garden of Tianning Temple in Yangzhou every time. Under the temple is the pier where he gets on and off the dragon boat.
Shuixizhuang
Shuixizhuang, one of the four private gardens in China, is located on the bank of the canal in the southwest of Tianjin. Scholars who traveled from south to north along the canal gathered in this garden to write poems and paint. Emperor Qianlong stayed here four times when he went down to the south of the Yangtze River, and personally renamed the garden "Mustard Garden".
Yu Huaian wharf
Huai 'an Royal Wharf is the wharf where Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong abandoned their ships when they went down to the south of the Yangtze River along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong entered the ancient town of Hexia from here, and then entered the old Huai 'an ancient city. There is an inscription in the Imperial Monument Pavilion near the Imperial Wharf, which was written by Emperor Qianlong. Emperor Qianlong presented the Gao Bin stone tablet of Jiangjun River and wrote "An Lan Performance" in his own handwriting.
Emperor Kangxi's summer resort in Chengde
