The Department of Medicine is the largest department in our hospital at present, which was established on the basis of Huangshan Health School with a history of half a century and played an important role in the construction of Huangshan Vocational and Technical College. Specialty settings include nursing, midwifery, pharmaceutical marketing, medical imaging technology, rehabilitation and health care, nutrition and health care. Among them, nursing specialty is a provincial key construction specialty, which was identified as a major supported by the central government in 20 12 to enhance the development ability of professional service industry in higher vocational colleges. Academic qualifications are divided into three levels, namely, full-time three-year higher vocational education in high school, five-year higher vocational education in junior high school and three-year secondary vocational education in junior high school.

The department consists of nursing teaching and research section, surgery teaching and research section, internal medicine teaching and research section, public health teaching and research section, basic medicine teaching and research section and pharmacy teaching and research section. It has an experienced and energetic team of teachers, including 47 professional teachers, including 16 teachers with deputy senior titles or above, accounting for 34%. There are 29 teachers with master's degrees or studying for master's degrees, accounting for 61.7%; The number of "double-qualified" teachers is 17, accounting for 45.9%; There are 6 professional leaders and 8 backbone teachers, which is a team of teachers with reasonable structure and excellent quality. Since 2000, the nursing teaching and research section has been awarded the title of "Youth Civilization" in Huangshan City, the title of "Women's Civilized Post" in the municipal health system in 2006, the title of "Women's Civilized Post" in 2007 and the honorary title of "March 8th Red Flag Advanced Collective" in March 2008. The college has newly built a modern training center, in which the nursing professional training room is about 4200 square meters, which can fully meet the students' experiments and training operations.

The medical department attaches great importance to the improvement of teachers' teaching and scientific research ability, undertakes the implementation of many provincial-level educational reform and scientific research projects, and presides over the development of professional courses and the compilation of teaching materials. Since 2003, the teachers of the Department of Medicine have edited and edited more than 20 textbooks of the Ministry of Education's "Skilled Talents Training Project Textbook", "National Teaching Reform Textbook of Health Vocational Education in the 265438+20th Century" and the planning textbooks of provincial and ministerial health vocational colleges. Among them, the textbooks of Geriatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Biochemistry and Anatomy and Embryology (Volume I) in three-year higher vocational colleges were rated as the national planning textbooks for general higher education in the 11th Five-Year Plan of the Ministry of Education and the national planning textbooks for higher medical colleges. At present, the Department of Medicine has 2 provincial-level teaching and research projects, 3 college-level excellent courses, 2 college-level excellent courses and 5 college-level teaching and research projects.

Since its establishment, the Ministry of Medicine has been actively exploring the modes and methods of training medical talents in the new period with the support of hospital leaders and the cooperation of relevant departments. Develop students' comprehensive quality in an all-round way with the cultivation of vocational skills as the core. The trained students are widely welcomed by employers because of their excellent skills and good comprehensive quality. There are 72 practicing hospitals inside and outside the province. The employment rate of five-year higher vocational students reaches 100%, which is among the best among similar colleges in the province. In recent years, the students of our department have achieved excellent results in the nursing vocational skills competition of vocational colleges in the whole province, and represented Anhui Province in the national nursing skills competition of vocational colleges. From the establishment of Tourism Department to 20 12, there are five majors: tourism management, hotel management, network marketing, computer application technology, accounting and auditing. The academic system includes three-year junior college from high school, five-year junior college and three-year secondary school from junior high school. Our department has strong strength, complete experimental means, a tourism training building and a computer professional computer room, and pays attention to cultivating students' professional application ability and delivering corresponding talents for tourism and information technology application.

At present, there are 9 full-time teachers in our department, 4 teachers with intermediate or senior titles, 7 teachers with master's degree or above, and 3 teachers with double qualifications. There are a number of part-time teachers with practical experience in enterprises and institutions, and a team of teachers with high academic qualifications, high quality and enthusiasm. They have rich teaching experience and distinctive teaching methods, and have made certain achievements in teaching reform and scientific research.

Tourism majors have broad employment prospects, and the employment directions of tourism-related majors are mainly tourist attractions, large and medium-sized star hotels, travel agencies, domestic comprehensive tourism groups and some tourism administrative departments. Computer-related majors have a wide range of employment directions, covering all aspects of IT industry such as software programming, network maintenance, graphic design, web design, hardware maintenance, marketing and assembly.

The department of bioengineering was established in September, 20 12, formerly known as Tunxi Tea School (founded in 19 18, re-established in 1953, and renamed Huangshan Tea School in 1998), with strong school-running strength. In line with the school-running philosophy of "paying equal attention to practice and theory, integrating science and technology with humanities", we will adhere to the school-running ideas of education-based, teaching-centered, service-oriented, employment-oriented, and combination of production and learning-oriented, so as to cultivate highly skilled talents with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and beauty, with necessary theoretical knowledge, strong practical skills and good professional ethics, and meet the needs of the front line of production, management and service.

The department of bioengineering now offers specialties such as landscape architecture, tea production and processing technology, tea art, etc. Among them, tea production and processing technology and tea art are the specialty of our college, and they are also the specialty of our college in higher vocational colleges in the province.

There are 25 full-time teachers (including experimenters) in the whole department, all of whom are "double-qualified" teachers, including 12 teachers with associate senior titles or above, 12 teachers with intermediate titles and 6 teachers with master's or master's degrees. It is a teaching team with high academic attainments and attaches importance to educational practice, educational reform and scientific research activities.

The department of bioengineering has relatively complete professional laboratories and training rooms, and has established more than 10 off-campus training bases with enterprises and institutions, which well meets the needs of students' internship training and vocational skills training. More than 98% of the students can hold "double certificates" for employment, and the graduates have established a good image and reputation in society and employers.
