Cypress is a small perennial tree belonging to the genus Phellodendron in Rutaceae, with a plant height of 3 ~ 10 m. There are rectangular micropores on the surface of its branches, which are brown and have relatively many branches, 7 ~ 9 cm long and 1 ~ 2 cm wide. The trunk is straight, the surface is rough and the color is brown.
The leaves are opposite, oval, needle-shaped, as thin as paper, with asymmetrical growth on both sides of the leaves, sparse surface villi and tiny serrations on the edges.
Normal peeling method of cypress:
The age of the selected cypress should be above 10, and the trunk bust should be 30-50 cm. On cloudy days, the trunk length should be cut off from top to bottom with a grafting knife about 80 cm, and the incision slope should be 45-60 degrees.
Then cut vertically between the two transverse incisions with a knife, deep enough to cut the bark without damaging the cambium and xylem. After peeling, the bark can be cut.
