The suture method of dimple plasty, also known as suture method, directly connects muscle and dermis with silk thread to form dimples at the position of buccal fossa. The suture method is simple and easy, and there is no surgical incision, but the effect is uncertain, and the dimple after molding is easy to disappear.
The introduction method of dimple shaping: relatively simple and quick. A pair of dimples can usually be completed in a few minutes, but the long-term effect is uncertain.
Incision method of dimple plastic surgery: make a vertical incision with a length of 2 cm on the buccal mucosa of the oral cavity, separate the mucosa from the muscle, cut off a small amount of muscle and adipose tissue, sew a needle on some muscles and dermis in the incision to form a shallow recess on the corresponding skin, and then sew the mucosa. This operation is complicated, but the effect is positive and it is the most commonly used method.
Subcutaneous ligation: draw a short line of 3~5mm at the fixed point of the face, and make a small arc incision of 3mm at the oral mucosa corresponding to the fixed point, with the long axis of the incision parallel to the nasolabial groove. Insert the straight needle of No.5 silk thread from the upper end of the small incision on the buccal mucosa in the oral cavity, pass through the upper end of the fixed line on the buccal skin, pass through the same root, penetrate the skin for the second time from the second puncture point, and finally pass through the lower end of the small incision on the buccal mucosa in the oral cavity. Pull the needle and thread to make a dent in the fixed point of the cheek skin, slowly apply force, tie the knot and tighten it, pay attention to the size, depth and shape of the artificial dimple, and adjust it appropriately until it is satisfactory.
Subcutaneous ligation is not suitable for patients with more cheek fat, and such patients need to use oral incision.
Intraoral incision: make an 8mm transverse incision at the oral mucosa corresponding to the oral fixed point, separate the small incision to expose the buccal muscle fiber, clip out and cut off the muscle fiber, and suture the buccal mucosa with the subcutaneous dermis at the fixed point of the cheek. At this time, you can see what the artificial dimple looks like after forming.
