How many tens of thousands of teenagers claim for electric shock when climbing a train?
A teenager playing along a railway in Zhangjiakou was seriously injured by high-voltage electric shock when climbing the roof of a truck shed. So he sued a railway bureau to the Beijing Railway Transport Court, demanding compensation of more than 240,000 yuan for medical expenses, nursing expenses, disability compensation and spiritual comfort.

After the Beijing Railway Court accepted the case, in order to reduce the litigation burden of the parties, Wang Yuliang, president of the Railway Court, led a team to Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province to hear the case.

Case: The teenager was seriously injured by high-voltage electric shock when climbing the train.

2017 65438+1On the afternoon of October 26th, Wang Yu (a pseudonym) and three companions entered the railway line to play from the gate of the freight yard of Shalingzi Station, and were knocked down by high-voltage electric shock while climbing the roof of the freight train. Subsequently, Wang Yu was sent to the local China People's Liberation Army 25 1 Hospital for treatment. He was diagnosed with electric shock, traumatic shock, head trauma, brain contusion and laceration, multiple fractures of face and skull, and issued several critical notices.

The reporter learned from Wang Yu's village committee that Wang Yu was born in 2004 at the age of 13, and his mother died of leukemia when he was three years old. In 2009, his father remarried, and Wang Yu lived with his grandmother, grandfather and uncle. My uncle died in a car accident in July 20 12. Since then, Wang Yu has been raised by her elderly grandmother and grandfather. During this period, my father did not pay alimony to Wang Yu, nor did he fulfill his guardianship responsibilities.

After the incident, Wang Yu's grandparents thought that the incident occurred near the station yard of Shalingzi Station, and the freight yard was located at the northern end of Shalingzi Station, east of the main line of beijing-baotou railway, connected with all the main lines and arrival and departure lines in the station, and the direction leading to the station was open. No safety warning signs were set in the high-voltage dangerous area where vehicles were parked, and no staff prevented Wang Yu and other companions from entering the railway line to climb the boxcar. The railway administration has seriously neglected the management of the lines under its jurisdiction, and at the same time completely failed to fulfill the necessary security obligations.

Therefore, a railway bureau was sued to the Beijing Railway Transport Court, and the defendant was required to compensate Wang Yu for medical expenses, nursing expenses, disability compensation, spiritual comfort and so on. A total of 245,448.63 yuan.

Inspection: there are still villagers crossing the railway line at the scene of the accident.

In the same place, on July 1 day, 2065438, Wu Tian (a pseudonym) died in a collision with a train and sued a railway bureau to the railway court. According to the original report, in this accident, there was no protective net on both sides of the road section where the accident occurred, and farmland was nearby, close to the village, and no safety warning signs were set on both sides along the railway. As the management unit of the railway line, the railway bureau failed to fulfill its due safety protection and warning obligations, which led to the release of the accident and the death of the victim Wu Tian, and the defendant should be liable for compensation.

After accepting the above cases, the Beijing Railway Transport Court found that there was a dispute between the original defendant and the defendant in the two cases, and the victims were either dead or seriously injured. At the same time, due to the interruption of railway transportation, the defendant also suffered huge economic losses.

In order to find out the facts better, the judge in charge of the two cases led a team to investigate the scene along the railway, focusing on the living environment of residents along the railway, whether there are protective measures along the railway, whether there are bridges and culverts, and whether there are warning signs, so as to prepare for the next stage of the trial.

While inspecting the site, Wang Chuang Yu Liang saw several local villagers crossing the railway line, so he immediately told the villagers not to cross the railway line.
