Introduction of FIFA Club World Cup:
FIFA Club World Cup (FIFA Club? The World Cup is an international football championship sponsored by FIFA, with top teams from six continents participating. In 2000, a nominal World Club Cup was held, but the event was forced to be cancelled due to sponsor problems. It was not until 2005 that the World Club Cup was restarted.
People used to regard the competition held in Japan from June 5 to February 2005 as the first World Club Cup. The following years were held in Japan from 2006 to 2008, 201,20 12, 20 15, 20 16, and 20 10 in 2009.
It is worth mentioning that China team Guangzhou Evergrande (now called Guangzhou Team) also participated in the World Club Cup twice on 20 13 and 20 15, and both won the fourth place.
On February 5, 2023, the Saudi Football Association officially announced that the 2023 World Club Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia on February 22, 2023.
