Avoid high temperature, heat, rain and sun exposure when hanging upside down. The optimum growth temperature is 15-25℃, and the winter temperature is not lower than 5℃. When the temperature reaches 30℃ in summer, the growth is extremely slow, and a large number of plants wither and die at 35℃. In winter, the lowest temperature in greenhouse should be kept at 10℃. It is vulnerable to freezing damage at the low temperature of 5℃, and the growth room temperature 10-25℃ requires high air humidity.
It is advisable to choose fertile sandy loam with rich humus and good drainage for upside-down gold hooks.
Maintenance points:
First, place the plants in a cool, ventilated, cool and rain-proof place; Spray water on the leaves and the ground several times a day to reduce the temperature and increase the air humidity.
The second is to stop watering and fertilizing perennial plants and successfully pass the dormancy period. Plants should enter the room before the first frost and leave the room after Tomb-Sweeping Day, and the room temperature should be kept above 5℃. In case of cold current, snowstorm and outdoor icing, it is best to move back indoors.
Core digging and plastic surgery
For perennial plants, it is advisable to pick the core in winter and cut off the top 5 cm to 6 cm shoots to promote its multi-branching. Short, thin, drooping branches lie dormant in summer, making autumn blossom luxuriantly. When the newly cultivated seedlings grow to 20 cm to 30 cm, the top is removed and the stem is fixed, and the lateral branches are promoted to form a multi-branch or even branched plant shape.
Beginning of autumn conducted the second coring before and after, and ushered in the second flowering period. Prune and reshape the whole plant before entering the house, cut off dead branches, weak branches, internal branches and over-dense branches, and cut short branches to make long branches, so as to concentrate nutrition, promote winter buds and lay the foundation for the coming year.
