Reflections on Shanghai Street Wanderers
I finished reading San Mao's Wandering Story with excitement. Sanmao is an orphan. He has no real home. He can only wander around, beg for a living and sleep on the streets at night. If you can't get anything, you can only starve all day. Not only that, he is often bullied by others, and his body is covered with scars. Our lives are different now. Take me for example. I have lived a life of food and clothing since I was a child. My parents took good care of me and took everything into consideration. I can say that I have everything I want. That's it. Sometimes I get angry with my mother and make everyone unhappy. I want to come now; Why shouldn't I? Look at San Mao, a waif. His life is so miserable! He had to work for a living at an early age. Compared with San Mao's, my life now is really one day at a time. Winter is coming, my mother has prepared a thick sweater for me, and Sanmao has nothing to wear. Sleeping in a soft bed at night, Sanmao has no place to live; Not only do I eat well, but I often change my taste. San Mao often doesn't eat; I study knowledge in the spacious classroom every day, but Sanmao can't go to school ... This contrast makes me think a lot. I should cherish everything I have. Seeing San Mao's miserable life and looking at himself, I really realized my happiness.
