How to care for golden marbles How to care for golden marbles

1. Light

Golden marbles like sunshine, but half-sun sunlight every day is enough for golden marbles to grow normally. You can usually maintain the golden marble bonsai in a place with sufficient light, with a little shade in summer, and in a place with the best indoor light in winter.

2. Temperature

The most suitable temperature for the growth of golden marbles is 28-33°C, so April to November every year is the period when golden marbles grow vigorously. It has good cold tolerance and will spend the cold phase in a dormant state in winter.

3. Watering

When watering golden marbles, keep the pot soil moist. You can usually observe that the soil surface turns white and becomes dry and water it once. During the high temperature period in summer, you also need to water it once. Under well-ventilated conditions, spray water on and around the plant leaves as much as possible to increase air humidity.

4. Fertilization

Golden marbles have a certain demand for fertilizer and water. During the vigorous growth period of the plant, a balanced fertilizer and water of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium can be applied every half month. In summer and autumn, topdress phosphorus and potassium fertilizer every half a month to promote the flowering and fruiting of golden marbles.

5. Pruning

As a bonsai, golden marbles need to be pruned and reshaped regularly, usually in March every spring, and all branches that are too dense, messy and elongated will be pruned. Remove it to maintain a graceful tree shape for viewing.
