Meng peixin
Associate Professor of Art Psychology, Central Academy of Fine Arts, a well-known psychologist in China, Ph.D. in Psychology, Beijing Normal University, member of Chinese Psychological Society and China Mental Health Association, reviewer of psychological counselor's thesis, and art therapist.
At present, he is engaged in theoretical research and clinical practice of art psychotherapy in the Central Academy of Fine Arts, offering many courses for undergraduates, master students and doctoral students, including: art psychology, art development psychology, art and visual perception, introduction to art therapy, and audience development and expansion. And set up an art therapy studio for students in the Central Academy of Fine Arts to help college students with psychological difficulties.
Dr. Meng systematically studied psychoanalysis, humanistic therapy theory, object relationship psychology, gestalt therapy theory, art therapy, expressive art therapy and the healing function of religion, and successfully dealt with various psychological problems such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, emotional distress trauma, depression, schizophrenia, etc. by using his own unique psychological counseling and treatment methods, and successfully dealt with psychological problems such as children's panic attack, adult marriage relationship and childhood trauma. He is especially good at using nonverbal therapy skills to open psychological crux, solve practical problems and improve psychological energy at the same time. Now I am mainly engaged in the theoretical and practical research of art and psychology.
