CD40 17 is a decimal counter/pulse distributor. CD40 17 is a 5-bit Johnson counter with 10 decoded output and CP, CR and INH inputs. The Schmitt trigger at the clock input has the function of pulse shaping, and there is no limit on the rising and falling time of the input clock pulse. CD40 17 provides four packaging forms: 16 lead multilayer ceramic duplexer (D), fused ceramic duplexer (J), plastic duplexer (P) and ceramic chip carrier (C).
