What do you know about the methods of shaping and pruning pear trees?
The top of pear tree has obvious advantages, strong polarity and is sensitive to pruning. In the process of shaping and pruning, try not to cause excessive growth. Pear trees have thin branches, few branches and small opening angle, ... so long branches appear on the main branches and the branch density is small. In the initial stage of shaping and pruning, we should pay attention to the angle of branch opening, not to make the backbone branches extend too fast on one axis, and increase the number of branches through germination. Plastic surgery is needed in the first year of planting.

Pruning methods of pear trees. The shaping of pear seedlings should not be "a big tree attracts the wind". Although the growth of branches and buds of pear trees has its own characteristics, due to the influence of environmental conditions and various factors, the branches needed are often not ideal and must be "shaped with the tree". Another rule of saplings is that they must be cut lightly. The so-called light pruning means that the whole tree should be cut lightly ..... according to the requirements of plastic surgery, unexpected pruning should be removed, and as many branches as possible should be left. As for the less ideal trees, we should wait until the leaves of the trees are full, and then gradually adjust them.

Dry. In early spring, plant new annual seedlings. According to the requirements of the height of the tree stem, the pear seedling tip is cut off from the part called the stem. When the stem is fixed, there should be full buds above 10 under the incision, so that the branches that come out later will be strong and it is convenient to choose the main branches. In general, the first and second buds can give off good branches, while the third to fifth buds have poor branches, and most of them form short and medium branches, or even do not sprout. In order to promote the germination of the third to fifth buds and select well-cultivated branches, the top of the bud can be cut off before germination to promote the growth of the bud.

The choice of central leading bodies. After pear trees grow for one year, the trunk should be cut from the upright branch at the top of the first bud as the central main branch in winter, and it should be cut as short as possible. Generally, the short length is 50-60 cm, and it can be shorter if it is weak. However, there must be several full buds at the bottom of the incision to facilitate growth and maintain the top. If the first bud at the top grows too vigorously, you can also choose the second or third branch below the top as the central leading branch.
