Brief introduction of Yan long
Yan Long (1390— 1472) was born in Shangchangbao, Yongchun, Fujian Province in the Ming Dynasty (now Taochang Village, Shigu Township). In the 19th year of Yongle (142 1), he paid tribute to imperial academy. In the first year of orthodoxy (1436), he was appointed as an official of Ji 'an government in Jiangxi Province, and his law enforcement was fair. He was appreciated by Yang Shiqi, a college student in Huagaidian, the minister of Shao Shi's Ministry of War, and Shi Qi personally wrote Ode to Thinking Hall for him. Shi Qi's son, Yang Ji, relied on his father's power to form a political party and run roughshod over the city. Yan Long didn't bend the law because he was surprised by a scholar. He collected more than 100 charges of Yang Ji, lured him to the yamen with tricks, and then arrested Yong Wen, sentenced to death according to law, and reported it to the court for review. At that time, the ruling and opposition parties shook, and admonishers went to the table to impeach Shi Qi.
