What is hrt?
Hrt is hormone replacement therapy (all written as hormone replacement therapy, injecting hormones into menopausal women).

Transgender people often mention HRT, which is actually a hormone replacement therapy.

Transgender people need hormone replacement therapy. When they can't accept their bodies, they may need some exogenous hormones to help suppress their gender characteristics, or express some gender characteristics with heterosexual characteristics, which can be improved by hormone replacement without surgery.

For example, for MTF (transgender female) transsexuals, antiandrogen can be used to suppress their male characteristics, including penis. After use, the penis may contract, then the scrotum will contract, ejaculation and morning sickness will be reduced, and the beard will be reduced accordingly.

In addition, coupled with the role of estrogen, it can make its chest develop, its skin become delicate, and its posture can become more rounded and feminine.

note:

There are also some risks in using hormone therapy. If necessary, it is recommended to apply it under the guidance of hospital doctors and under the premise of close supervision. Generally, a comprehensive physical examination is needed before use to ensure that there is no potential risk in hormone therapy.

After use, the effects and risks brought by hormones will be recorded in detail. Transgender people who need hormone therapy must go to the hospital for a follow-up visit every three months to rule out whether there is any risk. If so, it may be necessary to adjust the dosage, even stop taking medicine, or take medication for the complications that have already occurred.
