Atlas Copco was not called Atlas Copco at first, but Atlas Tools many years ago. Later, the development of air compressor business was not suitable for this name. In Belgium, there was a subsidiary called Copco, and later this subsidiary was called Atlas Copco. Atlas air compressor is worthy of being Copco air compressor and Quincy air compressor (acquired by the US Emperor in 2009).
