Is it possible for medical students majoring in pediatrics to switch to surgeons in the future?
It's unlikely. Pediatric diseases are relatively simple compared with adult diseases. Many of them are respiratory diseases, such as bronchitis, pneumonia and high fever. Pediatrics are cleaner and doctors' work is easier. Surgery is basically a fracture, liver and gallbladder, breast and then some injuries caused by fighting. If you like it very much, study both at the same time, choose one major and take the other as a negative.
