Growing season pruning (also known as summer pruning)

Pruning in the growth period is generally carried out from April to 10 (germination to defoliation), and the main purpose of pruning in this period is to improve the ventilation and light transmission performance of the crown. In spring, when the temperature starts to rise and the branches and leaves begin to sprout, evergreen trees will be pruned. Flowers and trees that bloom in summer should be pruned after flowering. Trees that bloom first and then leave in early spring should be pruned within 1~2 weeks after flowering, and the pruning amount should not be too large. During this period, light cutting such as bud wiping and core removal was often used. Competitive branches, internal branches, branchlets, pests and diseases, long branches and hedges can be pruned at any time.
