After half a year's transition, China Volunteer Inner Mongolia Station was officially renamed as Hohhot Volunteer on March 6, 2007. At this point, Hohhot has a team with its own local characteristics. After more than six years' development, it is a social welfare organization composed of five people and more than 4,000 members in the initial stage by using Hohhot Volunteer Baidu Post Bar and "Hohhot Volunteer" WeChat platform. Since its establishment, Hohhot volunteers have organized and participated in social welfare activities for many times and won unanimous praise from all walks of life. The news media in the autonomous region, including the websites of Inner Mongolia Radio and Television Station, News Everyday, Full Contact with the City, Inner Mongolia Daily, Northern New Newspaper, Inner Mongolia Morning Post, Hohhot Daily and Hohhot Evening News, reprinted and reported the activities of volunteers in Hohhot. Through reports, people gradually understand the concept of "volunteer" and the name is gradually recognized by the public. Hohhot volunteers are not affiliated with any government agencies, so many times the operation of the team needs the participation and help of people from all walks of life, and they have been concerned about personnel consultation and joined the ranks of volunteers.
