Heat treatment technology and hardness of ASP-23;

1. Stress relief process:

After rough machining, the mold should be heated to 600℃~700℃, then kept for two hours, slowly cooled to 500℃, and then cooled in the air.

2. Quenching process:

(1) Preheating temperature: 450~500℃ and 850 ~ 900℃;

⑵ Quenching temperature: choose1050 ~1180℃ according to the required hardness of the die;

(3) Heat preservation time: 30 minutes below 1 100℃, 5 minutes above 1 100℃;

(4) During the quenching process, the mold must be prevented from oxidation or decarbonization.

3. Tempering process:

For the purpose of cold working, no matter what austenitizing temperature is adopted, it is necessary to temper at 560℃ for three times and keep the temperature at least 65438 0 hours each time. It must be cooled to room temperature after each tempering, and the amount of retained austenite after three tempering should be less than 65438 0%.

Factory conditions: soft annealing to about 260HB.
