How to clean test tubes?
Test tubes are commonly used glass instruments in laboratories, but they need to be cleaned in time after use, so as not to affect the results of the next experiment. Next, we will introduce how to clean test tubes correctly.

1 dumping waste liquid

First of all, make sure that all the waste liquid in the test tube has been poured out, leaving no trace.

2 Inject clean water.

Next, inject half a tube of water into the test tube. After shaking it gently, pour out the water. Repeat this step several times until the inside of the test tube looks clean.

3 Use a tube brush.

If there is something difficult to clean on the inner wall of the test tube, you can use a tube brush. Remember to gently rotate or move the tube brush up and down when brushing to avoid damaging the test tube with excessive force.

Check cleanliness

When you find that the water drops on the inner wall of the test tube have neither gathered into drops nor flowed down in strands, it means that your glass instrument has been cleaned! Remember to put the washed instruments neatly on the test tube rack or in the designated position!
