Luoyang Orthopedic Hospital of Henan Province is a provincial-level medical institution of Chinese medicine, which is based on 2 17 history and integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and production. The hospital was established in 1956, and Luoyang Orthopedic Research Institute was established in1959 (renamed Henan Orthopedic Research Institute in 2006). At present, it is the National Orthopedic Medical Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the construction unit of the National Key College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (special disease), the construction unit of the National Key Discipline (Orthopedic Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine), the National Orthopedic Physician Training Base, the National Postdoctoral Research Center, the National Clinical Drug Research Base, the Henan Branch of the National Tissue Engineering Center, and the Luoyang Orthopedic College of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
