MMC (National Standardized Metabolic Disease Management Center) was founded by Professor Ning Guang, an academician of China Academy of Engineering. Xiangyang Central Hospital is one of the sites established by MMC project (National Standardized Metabolic Disease Management Center).

Xiangyang is a prefecture-level city and sub-central city in Hubei Province approved by the State Council, a new industrial base in Hubei Province and a central city in northwest Hubei.
