This semester, the school arranged for me to practice in Zhuhai Jing Tian Automobile Co., Ltd., and the internship time will be nearly one month. My internship position is automotive sheet metal. How time flies! In a blink of an eye, nearly a month's internship is coming to an end, and I feel a little reluctant to go. Because I feel that there are still many things I haven't learned, which requires me to continue to study and practice in the future. Although the one-month internship is relatively short, I feel that I have benefited a lot. This internship not only increased my practical ability and practical ability, but also learned a lot that books can't.
Before the internship, I did some preparatory work, mainly to understand some common knowledge of sheet metal: 1. automotive sheet metal technology includes body repair (sheet metal and painting), maintenance, painting and repair, decoration and beauty, as well as complex personalized modification and modeling of accident cars and modified cars. 2. automotive sheet metal's basic work includes car body disassembly, surface repair, car modification, car girder correction, electric welding (electric welding machine, oxygen shielded welding), gas welding and argon arc welding. 3. automotive sheet metal workers commonly used instruments, sheet metal repair machines, oxygen shielded welding machines and girder straightening machines.
During my internship, under the personal guidance of Li Shifu, I learned the disassembly and assembly of basic automobile parts (including front bumper, rear bumper, door and apron), the repair of bumper, the repair of sheet metal machine and other commonly used instruments in automotive sheet metal. I think the business of sheet metal must have been learned from the disassembly of whole vehicles. Disassembly is the most basic. If you can't even dismantle it, you can't talk about repairing it. Although disassembly is not difficult, there are many details worthy of our attention. As the saying goes, it is easier to see flowers than to embroider them. Indeed, at first, I thought it was too simple to open it, but when I opened it myself, the problem followed. Either the screws are leaking, or some screws don't know where to put them, so a part can't be completely disassembled. Be careful when disassembling, and don't disassemble by force, otherwise damaging the customer's car will not only bring unnecessary trouble to yourself, but also affect the company's image and interests. If you encounter an unsolvable problem, ask a master for advice. When disassembling, you should master certain skills and make clear the structure of various plastic buckles and spring locking clips. Only in this way will you be handy, even if you can't get it, it won't help. When installing the bumper, don't install the lights on the left and right sides upside down, otherwise the direction of the wire plug will change, and it is easy to get water, which will directly cause the circuit to burn out.
Dismantling is only the most basic of sheet metal, and then the body is corrected. The car body correction is carried out on the girder corrector, which is generally aimed at the accident car with serious car body deformation.
The next step is sheet metal repair. What I do most during my internship is the maintenance of bumpers, fenders, doors and box covers. For the repair of bumper: if only concave or convex deformation occurs, it is generally to heat the part first, spray it again, then correct it, and then paint it; If it is broken, it should be repaired first and then painted. For the repair of doors and fenders, a sheet metal repair machine is generally used to pull them bit by bit. At the same time, you should observe it carefully with your eyes, touch it with your hands, and it will be almost flat, then polish it with a cutting machine and repaint it. For the repair of sheet metal, the masters did not use any instrument to measure the extent of repair, and judged it entirely by their own practical experience and intuition. I feel that to be an excellent sheet metal worker, you need not only some book knowledge, but also some practical ability.
After the internship, I also consulted relevant materials and got to know the domestic market prospect of automotive sheet metal. At present, there are two main aspects in the domestic automotive sheet metal market: accident car maintenance and car modification. Traditionally, the maintenance of accident vehicles is called sheet metal repair, and workers only need to use tools such as hammers and welding guns to restore the appearance of accident vehicles. However, with the maturity of the automobile consumption market, consumers have higher and higher requirements for maintenance. However, most maintenance enterprises have two problems: first, the hardware equipment of maintenance enterprises is not too hard, and there is no high-standard body-shaping equipment. Second, there is a lack of professional automobile plastic technicians. According to statistics, the accident rate of major accident vehicles repaired in China is nearly 20% within one year.
The current situation is that many repair shops can repair accident cars, but there are not many real technicians, and the quality of maintenance is often not recognized by consumers when there are potential safety hazards. There are also many problems in the domestic automobile modification market. On the one hand, it is the details of policy management and the lack of testing institutions. Compared with the detailed rules and standards of foreign mature automobile markets for automobile modification, the relevant domestic institutions have not issued detailed policies and regulations, which directly leads to a mixed market for automobile modification. On the other hand, there is a lack of professional and technical personnel. It is understood that most domestic refitting plants are only small repair shops and enthusiasts, and they are in a semi-underground state. A master of modified cars once described the modification he knew: the appearance is the place where consumers are most interested. But I want to remind many modified players that once the vehicle is modified, it will definitely lose something. So perfection is not required, and the ultimate happiness is death. Obviously, most refitters do not have such a deep understanding, and the lack of professional and technical personnel is a hidden danger. Therefore, both the accident car repair market and the refitting market are expecting the introduction of relevant policies and regulations, and the demand for professional automobile plastic surgery talents is also extremely huge. It is understood that in recent years, among the newly added majors of 109 in 50 universities, there is the major of automobile plastic surgery. The booming demand market and the addition of specialists all reflect that the domestic automobile plastic surgery market will gradually embark on the road of standardization and specialization. A qualified automotive plastic surgeon should master the relevant theoretical and practical knowledge of automotive mechanical technology, such as automotive materials and heat treatment, automotive mechanical foundation and other basic knowledge, as well as automotive English reading ability and computer application. Only by mastering the relevant theoretical knowledge and accumulating rich experience through a lot of practice can you be regarded as a qualified professional automobile plastic surgeon.
