Legal analysis: disfigurement is to destroy the appearance of others and endanger the safety of others' lives, and it is treated as intentional injury. This kind of crime is the object that our criminal law should resolutely crack down on. If disfigurement causes minor injuries to others, which constitutes a crime, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 5 years 10 years according to law. Whoever causes serious injury or death to others due to disfigurement shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years or life imprisonment or death.

Article 1221st If medical personnel fail to fulfill their medical obligations corresponding to the medical level at that time, thus causing damage to patients, medical institutions shall be liable for compensation.

Article 1222nd A medical institution is presumed to be at fault under any of the following circumstances:

(a) in violation of laws, administrative regulations, rules and other relevant medical norms;

(two) concealing or refusing to provide medical records related to the dispute;

(three) lost, forged, tampered with or illegally destroyed medical records.
